My boyfriend doesn't want me to drink?

I been dating my boyfriend for 6 months now, he's younger than me he's 17 and I'm about to turn 18 in a couple of days. Before you think any he's very mature for his age and he's really smart. The problem is my parents let me drink for my 18 birthday with my friends at a hotel which is literally three girls not planning on having guys over. Every time I bring up this topic to him he gets so mad saying he doesn't like seeing me drunk or he doesn't like girls who drink, what should I do?

Oh, what should I do? I think you better figure out this answer. Cause sooner or later you're going to hate him, lose him, or really love him. It really seems like a girl's choice that way I see it from a guy's point.

Question I think you should be asking yourself is: Should I continue any relationship with him?

The answer should be your answer, your answer only.

He's not your dad and he has no right to tell you whether you can drink or not. If he doesn't even want you drinking on your birthday after your parents said you could drink, he's got real issues

Tell him sorry but it's your birthday, he's not your dad, and your parents are fine with it. Tell him if he has a problem, then he can leave. But you want to have a drink for your birthday and he's not going to stop you

You have to stand up to people like this. You can't let anyone you are dating push you around or tell you how to behave

Honestly he seems like a jealous control freak mostly because if your parents r ok with it, he should be too. He probably thinks that something with guys might happen that night or he wants to control exactly what you do. I suggest talking to him one more time and then if that doesn't work, then dump him
