You will have a warrant issued for your arrest and the ticket price will increase.

Every ticket will also include a court date. You can either pay the fine before the court date, or appear in court on the court date and enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. If you do neither, pay the fine or appear in court, the court will issue a warrant for Failure to Appear.

If you don't show up to court, you will have a warrant against you. If you at least show up to court and ask to speak to the district attorney and tell them you have NO MONEY, they can usually set up a payment plan.
