Selecting the "right" university has to do with fit, not "prestige." Start by thinking about the attributes of campus life that are important to you. Consider things like the neighbor the school is in, the on- and off-campus housing options, majors, campus culture/personality, distance and travel options to and from home, and even the size and geography of the campus.
Tufts is academically the best school, but that doesn't make it the best choice for you.

"prestige" and "the best education" are not necessarily the same thing
Furthermore, both concepts are subjective, and highly dependent on the specific program of study, and anticipated employment, you are pursuing.
Stop worrying about how a school appears to other people (which is completely irrelevant anyway) and start putting in the hard work to determine what job you want, what the educational requirements are, and which school can best fulfill those requirements for your individual situation.

Maybe you should consider which one is best for you. And every school is going to have different strengths in different departments (i.e. majors)
Do you know what the professor to student ratio is for classes in your (intended) major? Do you know how many students finish on time in your major? Are you guaranteed to have the necessary classes in your major available. Do professors teacher the classes or TAs? What is the accessibility to the Professors? Do you know what the job prospects are for students in your major? Do you know what type of student services they offer? What will the housing situation be like? Etc etc etc
To me, shopping for a name brand school only is a bad idea.
