Why can't you cancel an answer?
If I write an answer it stays permanently. There is a button that says "cancel". That doesn't work. If I edit, even backspace to erase the answer, the original answer stays- plus what ever I added with edit. Sometimes I just put something to see if the site is working, then I'd like to cancel it.

Click "edit" and the underneath "make anonymous" is "delete answer"

You can delete if the BA has not been picked. On some odd mobiles, you may need to be in desktop mode.

Click edit button .You can delete your answer as long as no best answer selected .
