I taped over my laptop camera lens. When I removed the tape glue stock on the lens. What is the best way to remove the glue?

A little oil (any cooking oil will work) will do the trick. Take a drop (finger tip of oil) and apply to the glue. Allow to sit for a few moments so the oil will work itself under the glue, and then wipe off! Works every time.

qtip and hairspray!! wet the qtip with spray and wipe the lens until it is clean. Next time use a bandaid!! that way the glue won't stick to the lens but will block the camera from showing anything too!

A cleaner made specifically for electronics is the ONLY thing you should ever use...on your computer, your phone, tablet, laptop, television, or any other device.

They are available in sprays as well as cloths (somewhat like baby wipes or glasses cleaners). For JUST cleaning the lens, I'd go for the cloths...but if it's been a while since you've cleaned your laptop, get the spray.

You should be able to do it with water. Maybe you can use a little paint thinner but i would wipe it off quickly

Try Isopropryl Alcohol, that should do the trick.
