06 mustang gt coup, rear defrost passenger side connection broke off, is there anything I can do to fix it without replacing the window?

the last time this happened the electronics and a glass shop said the entire window needed to be replaced. did that and just over a year later the same part breaks off again. so warranty expired.

I can not remember the name of the material used to connect it to the glass but that came off with the connector.

is there anything I can use to connect it back to the window

Just solder a piece of wire to the wires on the glass. Two will be needed of course. Get a new connector with wires on it and solder the connector to the new wires on the glass. All manuals have information on doing this. Just go to the section on rear defoggers. Too bad you got ripped off last time. Now it's your turn to learn how to fix it.

Windows are held by the window regulator. I don't have a clue why you mention rear defrost. The only rear "defrost" are the wires in the rear window that are called defoggers.

Probably some kind of electrical conductive adhesive... google it... I seen some with silver in it might be good, some pretty pricey.

If I remember right I soldered one back on with the glass out and a piece of solder under it while applying heat with this giant soldering iron, I heated the metal tab until it melted the solder behind it and let it cool.
