Do you think that the media is honestly reporting the news? Do you think the reporting is unbiased?

I think that in the vast majority of instances the media is honest and attempts to fairly balance their reporting.
Of course, people in the media are... people. They're flawed and they have a point of view, and they can't possibly keep that completely out of their viewpoint, no matter how diligent and honest they are. The best you can do is get as much information as you can, from as many sources as you can, and try to draw your own conclusions.

Reporting is always biased, because people will be biased. But that doesn't mean they are not being factual. This is the sort of thing you should be taught when you are 14/15 at school - everything has a bias, you should look yourself to identify the bias, read lots of different sources, and where you can go back to the source of the information to get to the facts. But you shouldn't dismiss something because it has a bias, when everything has a bias.

If you are referring to the mainstream media which includes CNN, NY Times, Washington Post, Wall St. Journal, The Economist, the AP, Reuters and the newspaper I worked at for 30 years the answer is - yes they are doing their job.
The press has been doing the same job they always have. They are tough, well trained, talented and experienced.
There isn't a single US president that hasn't been held accountable by the press and it goes with the job.
Because Trump tries to diminish them as fake is corrupt.
There are so many sleazy outlets it is impossible to name them all.
Check the sources below. The second source lists well known and accepted publications.

It depends. What we call "the media" is really thousands of individual organizations. Some of them are more reliable, honest, and unbiased than others.

They never have and never will. We all have some bias.
You can find very useful news / information using multiple sources.

I see you have been listening to Faux News. There is no requirement that the media be "unbiased." That is what freedom of the press is all about. If you disagree with one newspaper, you are free to publish your own. Faux News, on the other hand, has persuaded the dolts who listen to it that the media should be "unbiased," and that it, which has just the right slant, is an example of it, which is false.
