What does the phrase 'It's about the customer, always' mean to you?

Customer service is extremely important when it comes to working, you want the customer to walk out of the store and want to come back. What does the phrase ' its about the customer, ALWAYS' mean to you?

Reminiscent of a couple of old phrases in marketing. "The customer comes first" and "the customer is always right"

It's a meaningless platitude designed to ennoble a company's motives when in fact their only real concern is their profits.

Ir means the customer is the top priority, and must be included in all deliberations of the business. It does not say that the customer is always right, and I agree with that (sometimes the customer is wrong and just needs to be educated). But, the customer should always feel good with any interaction.
