Which Temperature has the same value in Kelvin and Fahrenheit ?

I tried this way,

-

Let,

The value of the temperature "x"

i.e K=C=x

We know that ,

(K-273.15) / 5 = C / 5

or, 5( x - 273.15 ) = 5x

or, 5x - 273.15 = 5x

or, 5x-5x = 273.15 !!!

    You ask K to °F but try to work out K to °C which has no solution since °C = K + 273.15

    Let K = deg Kelvin, C = deg Celsius, and F = deg Fahrenheit.

    K = C + 273.15

    F = 9 * C / 5 + 32 = 9 * (K - 273.15) / 5 + 32

    so

    5F = 9K - (9 * 273.15) + 160

    5F = 9K - 2138.35

    Let K = F

    4K = 4F = 2138.35

    K = F = 2138.35 / 4 = 534.5875 degrees.

    Done using simple arithmetic rather than messing around with a spreadsheet.

    you need a 9 in there C to F is 5/9+32

    I took the easy way out and used a spreadsheet goal seek

    574.5875K = 574.5875°F
