Gorka was photographed at an inaugural ball wearing a medal from the Hungarian Order of Heroes, Vitezi Rend, a group listed by the State Department as taking direction from Germany’s Nazi government during World War II.

This is a lie. Hungary was essentially forced into being an ally of Hitler under pressure. Hungary was always an enemy of the Communists and did fight against the Soviets, but in secret, they negotiated with the Allies in armistice negotiations. When Hitler discovered this 'betrayal', Hungary was invaded by Hitler in March 1944.
The Vitezi Rend existed well before WWII, and it continued on afterward to honor their brave, in spite of Communist-fueled oppression and banning. It should also be noted that the Soviets banned the Boy Scouts and the Catholic Church.
