The side measurement of a cube is 11 cm. Find the length of the diagonal in the cube.

    diagonal across face = 11√2 cm

    diagonal through cube = √((11√2)² + 11²)

    = √(11²·2+11²)

    = 11√3 cm

    (sqrt 242) cm

    = 11 (sqrt 2) cm

    If each edge has length 11 cm, then Pythagoras gives us:

    sqrt(11^2 + 11^2 + 11^2) = 11*sqrt(3) =~ 19.052558883257650228801909756565 cm
