are GMO's a good thing or a bad thing?

As a food source, they are no good. Our bodies mount an immune response to what they don't recognize as food. That's why there has been such a steep rise in food allergies and autoimmune diseases over the past few decades.

They may have other purposes that are beneficial, but they don't belong in our food supply.

Fun fact: The FDA didn't even test GMO foods before they unleashed them on the American public. They had no idea what the long-term consequences of their decision would be, but they did it anyway because their people and Monsanto's people are one and the same. (Search "FDA and Monsanto revolving door" if you want to know just how incestuous they are.) Oh...and both entities benefited financially.
