How to avoid Xanax blackouts?

Im currently in the possession of Xanax for my social anxiety and panic attacks, I have never used Benzodiazepines in my life, I have been doing some research and i have found you can blackout from Xanax and have little or no recollection of what happened, I m extremely worried and scared about this happening to me, the pills are 1mg each, i just want to take them safely.

    Do not abuse them and you will be fine. Do not drink alcohol with them
