An Hispanic man learned English from woman and adopted her effeminate "accent". How would he upgrade his accent to "Hollywood" manly?

He does not know about his adopted accent and I worry about offending him. But people snicker.

    It will probably sound better if he simply lowers the tone of his voice at the end of the sentence (except for questions).

    Studies have shown that among English speakers both men and women respond better to that speech pattern, from men or women.

    Most English speaking men have that pattern already.
