Should the Sheriff be held to account??

Should the Sheriff be held to account for murder because he released one of the killers WITHOUY notifying ICE???

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/02/20/suspect-in-de...

""At the time of his arrest, ICE placed a detainer with the Denver County Jail. The detainer wasn’t honored, and he was released by the jail Dec. 20, 2016, without notification to ICE. "

Sigh.. If you actually read the whole article, you will see that the Sheriff said he notified ICE by fax when he released him. ICE says they weren't notified, the Sheriff says they were. So which one are you going to charge?

Only if his actions as a result of the release were foreseeable. Was the guy a known thief/murderer?
