Why is the Yahoo toolbar telling people to install the new Firefox.?

    Yahoo wants you to use Firefox because Yahoo paid a large sum of money to the Mozilla foundation (which developed Firefox) to make Yahoo search the default search engine for Firefox.

    Yahoo discontinued the Yahoo toolbar. Yahoo is also advertising their New Tab Extension for Firefox and Google Chrome.
