Sleeping pill question?

Hi my Doc have taken me off Zopiclone sleeping tabs and given me Nytol instead . Do they work please?

    Nytol is diphenhydramine, and is known as a "sedating antihistamine". It's the active ingredient of Benadryl. It's notorious for making people drowsy, but it won't put you to sleep like eszopiclone. Eszopicline is known as a "sedative hypnotic". Using them can cause dependence so it's a good change if you can get sleep without it. Try to practice good sleep hygiene and make the most of itit.
