Should Australia become a colony of the United States?

Since most Aussies would rather live in the USA, why not bring them into the fold?

The English Union - Led by the US, backed by the UK with Canada riding third, Australia part of the mix, Ireland iffy and New Zealand is the bonus.

Spans three continents. Let's do it.

    No thank you.

We like walking our streets in safety and without guns and the fact we can go to a Hospital and not end up having to pay a massive bill afterwards. Or maybe we prefer it that we Rank 4th on life expectancy while the US is 31st.

Australia is a failed country. It was founded by criminals and retards that managed to get kicked out of England for being uncivilized. You know you're off to a bad start when the founders of your country were vagabonds and convicts. And look at their track record--they are such losers that Great Britain even wanted to get rid of them a second time. The Australians screwed up so bad at Gallipoli that Britain was like yeah we don't want to be associated with these guys. Sure Gallipoli was like America's D-Day--the difference, we actually was victorious.
