    3² + h² = 6²

    h² = 25

    h = 5 in ______vertical height

    V = (1/3) π x 3² x 5 in³

    V = 47• 1 in³

    Such a cone has a radius of 3 in. and perpendicular height of 3√3 in.

    As such it has a volume of ⅓ π 3² 3√3 which is 9π√3 cubic inches.
