Minecraft is the newer version of ROBLOX. Type in Minecraft on YouTube to get the idea. I personally like both equally.

Minecraft is basically seen as the culmination of games in this set category. Also, seems to be the most popular with a steady online crowd. Minecraft to me seems the next step from Roblox.
I'd suggest looking up game play videos.
