Why does this always happen to me?
I'm a sophomore guy in high school. I'm not extremely popular or good looking but I'm definitely not bad either. The past 2 years, there have been girls that show major signs of liking me that are more popular than me. I get really close to them, even go out together even just me and a girl. Then they lose interest. It's not like my personality is bad, I'm a relatively shy and quiet person but it's not like I never speak and I'm very kind and respectful around people who I dont know all that well yet. Why do girls get interested in me and then out of the blue just stop liking me?

You're just not going to click with every girl you meet.
It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. It doesn't mean that the girls are mean or playing games with you. Again, it just means that you guys don't click. That's all. There's no hidden agenda here.
It simply means, "You can't win 'em all" - that's a fact of life. Get used to it, buddy.
Not every girl you date is going to be The Love Of Your Life. You're more than likely not going to meet your future wife when you're both in high school. You will fall in love (either Puppy Love or Real Love) several times in your life, and you will have your heart broken several times in your life.
Just be kind and respectful to others, and eventually you will meet someone and you two will be well-suited for each other.
