Hockey people- How would YOU change or improve the game?

At this week's NHL GM meetings, the GM's broke up into groups about how to improve/change the game and there were a few odd ideas thrown around. What idea would YOU present to the NHL Board of Governors and how would it improve the game? Keep in mind that TV ratings and league revenues are stagnant and the NHL has their TV rights deals in places until the next decade.

I wouldn't change a goddam thing. Hockey is the best sport there is! If it ain't broke don't fix it! Although I think the league would benefit from growing some balls and replacing Bettman.

Overtime - One period 5 players each, same rules. It's a hockey game not a side show

Shoot outs - Save it for a skills competition at Spring Break. Why tag the goalie alone for a loss?

I've heard the idea of taking away offsides or icing to increase scoring and I myself am unsure about how I feel about that. I'd definitely do continuous 3 on 3 OT instead of the shootout. I think I heard somewhere that 95% of OT's wouldn't go past 10 mins in 3 on 3. It's still a gimmick but not as much as the shootout. It should be left for the All Star skills comp. I don't think resizing goalie equipment is fair to anyone, so I think that is fine how it is, however maybe angling the posts so bounces have a better chance to go in. Those are some ideas that could improve the game
