Makeup that actually wears well?
I have facial sweating problems so foundation and concealer tend not to last long on me. And if my sweating is controlled makeup fades off in spots. I have combo skin and am acne prone. The longest lasting foundation i tried was estee lauder double wear but ot looked like a caled up mess. As did colorstay although it didnt last nearly as long. Im trying to figure out if primer and seyting spray are key or the actual maleup. I dont want to spend more than 30 but if i have to i will.

You want to avoid silicones which make your skin feel like a hot, itchy, sweaty mask and will make you oilier and greasier. So avoid Estee Lauder, MAC, Nars, Rimmel, Revlon, Covergirl, Benefit, Smashbox, Laura Mercier, Makeup Forever, etc... they all contain silicones. Always read the ingredients!
Use a good primer like Becca's ever matte pore-perfector which is oil and silicone free and apply it by warming it between your fingers and patting it on rather than rubbing it on. It works like no other primer on the market for controlling oily skin. You can use it before makeup as a primer and use it for touchups or a second time once makeup is finished for additional control.
Stay away from harsh foundations that contain oils and silicones too, with similar brands above being avoided. Get a good mineral powder foundations like ella rose minerals, dreamworld hermetica, meow cosmetics, alima pure, everyday minerals, aromaleigh, etc... these are non comedogenic and better for acne and sensitive skin types as well as for oily skin. Silicone free powder foundations are breathable and absorb oil better. They only look better as the day goes on.
Apply them WET with a flat top kabuki and really buff it in. This will help you achieve full coverage that is breathable and not heavy however applying it wet prevents caking and dry appearance. Watch tutorials if you're not sure how to do it and practice.
Set your makeup with a finishing spray which also gets rid of cakey and dry appearance but also locks makeup in place for the day and further controls oil. Ben Nye and Kryolan make the best ones and they are more affordable than Urban Decay which doesn't even compare to them. They are makeup artist favorites for stage and film makeup so you know they are truly made to last.

Find a primer that works well.
It isn't just the foundation, its a combo of foundation and primer that will work well for you.
You might try using a powder foundation.

I've discovered Primark's sweat line and I really think maybelline setting powder seems to help. Good luck!

Estee lauder double wear is one of the most popular foundations for great coverage and control over oily skin. Other cult favourites usually include mac studio fix fluid! But if you're looking for a more budget friendly option then l'oreal infallible pro matte has been raved about amongst many people (although this one i have not tested for myself)
Primer is a definate must for keeping oily skin at bay all day, and locking your foundation down. Benefit porefessional is an absolute godsend but rimmel stay matte is also very good if you're looking for something cheaper. Setting pray is also necessary to make makeup last longer, urban decay all nighter spray will make your makeup last hours and hours trust me!
The estee lauder foundation can go cakey very quickly but its all about application, you should try using thin layers and blending out with a beauty blender or real techniques sponge for a smooth finish. You can still build up coverage but it won't look cakey :-)
