Anyone requested and received a transcript from the IRS because you lost your AGI?

I have the Federal pins but they won't accept them. I have requested twice the transcript and so far have not received one

    I get mine on line. If you can't get past the security gatekeeper the turnaround time on fax or mail requests this year is running 2 to 4 weeks.

    Just file a paper return by mail. It will be faster than waiting on the transcript and then e-filing once it comes in.

    The IRS no longer offers walk in service at Taxpayer Assistance Centers. In major cities it is running 2 or 3 weeks for an appointment during tax season.

    some months ago that area of IRS was hacked and for many months any transcript was not available on line or phone, it had to be filed manually

    since you have not been able to get it twice, try filing manually next time, you should have it in 30 days

    Do it by mail and IRS will respond by mail.

    Write to the IRS or go into an IRS office with plenty of ID.
