Whiskey and painkillers question?

Had a whiskey two hours ago and I'm going to take a co codamol for pain later Is that ok please..

    Never take anything with paracetamol (acetaminophin) with alcohol. You can end up with liver failure. You should never take narcotics like codeine with alcohol.

    So no, don't take it. If you have pain, take ibuprofen or aspirin and stop drinking.
