do you do research before answering a question on here?
I'm hoping for honest answers but this being the internet I'm ready for what may come..

No I don't research.
When you answer in the jokes & riddles section. You don't have to be accurate, only funny
In my case,ridiculous and funny.

Only If im not Positive on a Answer or want to Double Check most of the time I already know the Answer without having to look it up

Honestly, the person asking the question should research it themselves; they are just as capable as doing it as someone else who would answer said question. Instead, they just ask the community. Now, if it's something unresearchable or something very vague, that's a different story.
To answer your question, typically I don't do research unless I forget a portion of what I'm answering; if I have no idea of the answer I ignore it, and if I know the topic very well then I lend my knowledge then and there.

Yes. The people who answer questions on this usually takes some time, and most times my questions need immediate answering, so I do some research first. Plus, I do some research even after I've posted my question and after they've answered it if I find their answer interesting or not interesting. If their answer satisfies everything, then I leave it at that.
In short, yes, I do extensive research.
