Does "someone offended by something" have higher moral priority?

over what what deemed offensive? to put it simply, If someone's offended by a cartoon depicting an abortion, do they have the right to shut the cartoon maker down? or is the cartoon free speach?

    No. It's free speech. People can be offended but offense doesn't give them special rights.

    No,If someone told me they were offended by my wearing an American Flag pin in America I'd tell them tough. Look away and I'd keep my pen on. This is America not some twigs country. If they don't like it they can just leave. I'm not going to hide something I like just because some twig from another country doesn't like it. I'm guessing that's what you mean.

    The words get over it comes to mind seriously what sort of generation do we have where everyone is offended by something or other and have to run to a safe space for a cry ,

    I sometimes wonder how these new age wimps would cope with a depression of a major war like our grandparents had
