How do I get my hamster to like me and play with me?

I got a new hamster and its scared of me...How can I encourage it to be more playful?? (It's a Russian Dwarf by the way)

    A new kid on the block will need a few days to settle into a new home and feel safe, then you can work on socializing and bonding.

    talk around him, give him treats, anything to get him used to u. Then he will most likely play with you
