What is the difference between a psychopath and sociopath?

Sociopath is made by their environment.

I have read that,like Happy says,the psychopath is born and the sociopath is made. Nobody really knows why some people are born psychopaths-they can be raised in a loving family environment. They are intelligent,charismatic,calculating,naturally manipulative with no empathy. They easily blend in with society and appear like normal,upstanding people,those who deal with them are unsuspecting of their true nature until they decide to strike. They often have "fans"-people who think they're great and follow them like puppies,even side with them against their victims. They are also,of course,naturally predatory-they will prey on anyone if it benefits them whether or not that person ever did anything to them.

Sociopaths are the result of environment- they grow up in abusive situations. Unlike psychopaths they are disorganized, not calculating, they are often open about their anti-social lifestyles. Unlike psychopaths,they can still have some shred of empathy left,not much but some. But they can still be extremely violent and dangerous.

Psychopath is mentally ill in all respects and sociopath is which is prone to live aloof and lonely away from society
