Is there a real threat from North Korea ?

Well, it's important to never underestimate North Korea. Even though their missile systems may not be as deadly and technologically advanced as other modern day country's missile systems; you still have to take into consideration that these are actual "missiles" we're talking about, and they are fully capable of doing harm, to some extent. If anything, I'd say that South Korea should be the worried ones. North and South Korea are practically next door neighbors. South Korea is the most vulnerable to an attack. Though, I have no doubt that South Korea is locked and loaded, and ready to go at any given moment. Without a doubt, South Korea's military is way more technologically advanced than North Korea's army. The DPRK is still using old weaponry. And I'm not really convinced that they have the capabilities to attack the United States. But then again...you never know.

North Korea itself is currently not a threat, but it's main allies, China and Russia are very real threats.

As we're going to find out, anytime you have a person in charge of a country with an inflated ego and thin skin, anything can happen. Their reactions aren't based on logic, and intelligence, their reactions are based on fear and perceived not actual insults.
