Two things you can try. Both may seem a bit randy, but I'm serious.
1) Lie in bed relaxing for 15 minutes or so. If it appears sleep is not coming, then get out of bed, disrobe as much as is possible for your circumstances, and then wander around your place allowing your body to cool off (but don't let your feet get cold). After doing this for another 15 minutes, hop back into bed. Often the transition from cold to warmth will induce a sleep-like stupor that will push you over the edge into slumber.
2) Or compose yourself in bed and start to fantasize about a sexual encounter. Make it as naughty as you can tolerate. Start at the beginning, the circumstances, the people, the seduction. Imagine every small detail. Don't be surprised if you sneeze a couple times, by the way. Anyway, there's a good chance that before you even get to the really good parts, you'll have fallen asleep. This works because by concentrating on something so intently (and most of us are able to concentrate on sex like this), we drive out of our mind the thoughts that are keeping us awake.
Hope this helps. I'm just going to bed now myself.
Good night...
