Why is Yahoo Answers so anti-liberal? It's like everyone hates the so-called "Demonic-rats"?

It is primarily a case of more conservatives having a competitive view of political issues while more liberals have a cooperative view or political issues. The "us versus them" competitive view makes a person more likely to want to attack others, which is reflected in posts.

When you add in the fact that many people who do most of their social interactions on line anonymously lack the social graces of those who spend more time with other people in social settings, some of the posts get ugly.

I also believe that most liberals who come to Yahoo Answers want to help others and find all the insults in the politics category distasteful, which means they are more likely to avoid the category.

there are a lot of conservatives with multiple accounts

who actually believe they might somehow change the world using Y!A

and many of them live unhappy lives so they lash out at others

like a bully in a schoolyard going after the skinny kid
