How to make Cannabutter?
I have a pound of shake and want to turn the entire pound into cannabutter. (Yes I'm in a state of legal recreational weed) I'm looking for someone knowledgeable who knows the right measurements of ingredients, material, and procedure for the entire pound. Also have a half oz of keef. With the cannabutter I will be making brownies or "chronies" and cookies. Please no trollers or any of you anti weed halfwitz . Thank you.

It is much easier to infuse oil instead of butter. The oil is more forgiving. Butter will burn easily if you're not careful. This is why a lot of recipes say to use water and butter, and then chill the mixture when it's done to harden the butter, and then scoop it out. But it's easier said than done. I just use oil.
Also, DO NOT grind your bud!! Simply break it up coarsely with your fingers. You don't want bud in your oil/butter. You will strain it out later. If it's been ground, you will not be able to strain it all out. This will cause your edibles to be a little gritty, which I don't care for. On that note... don't use keef, either! Save that for another time. It's too fine.
Use a ratio of 7 grams of bud to each 1/2 cup oil/butter.
