    i'll not be 'happy' until i see exactly where the uk shall be, once outside europe and even then i may well not be remotely happy... as i felt at the time, and voted, i would have much preferred the uk to be in europe, but with the terms cameron was supposedly aiming for, but didn't succeed in getting...

    and then there's a little matter of scotland breaking up the uk!!!

  • Happy to see democracy restored once more, listen to the rhetoric coming from Junker and co, Britain should be punished, Britain should be made to suffer, authoritarian arrogance or what?

    I'm actually quite happy. It'll help Northern Ireland take a huge step closer to Irish Unity, it's in enough of a Mess at the moment. RHI, DUP arrogance etc have lead to Sinn Fein gaining loads of seats in the election. There is no unionist majority anymore at Stormont. Coupled with a Scottish referendum, bye bye England!

    Also the Brexiteers can't produce any actual facts on brexit! It's quite funny, yet it's true. They haven't got a clue about how exactly the UK is going to build up a strong economy again. All the ''facts'' they can produce are against the other side- the EU. Here's some of the classic nonsense;

    How the EU leaders are unelected - Was Theresa May elected?

    Immigrants are useless and dangerous - Who is running the NHS then and keeping you alive?

    The EU costs £350m a week - A ridiculous lie by good ol' Boris and Farage.

    No plan, no actual economic facts. I can give you lots of facts about our current EU economy. One thing is that it works well.

  • Anyone who thinks things are going to be any better is an idiot. Bye bye workers rights. The Tories are in and nothing is now stopping them destroying us

    Hi yes thank goodness we have moved away from non -elected bodies telling us what to do and what we can sell or what fields we have to seat a side so some lazy french man can get paid for sitting on his big fat butt.

    like the happiness of a lemming about to experience free fall for the first time as he plunges off the edge of a cliff

    I am so happy, f*ck you gravity, you wanker.

    as much as you despise the EU, from today the UK has no say in how negotiations go.

    you have little bargaining power and the EU will make sure that 'leaving the union' doesn't look like a pleasant or easy step... for the obvious reason of discouraging other countries who might use it as an easy distraction
