Is coal still usable if collected from water?

    Coal is a rock. It's not made purely of carbon, nor is it permeable by water. So if you're wondering if it will burn because it got wet at one time or another, then yes, it will still be useful as a fuel. Just keep in mind that coal is and never will be "clean" regardless of what the WH says.

    I don't think water affects a rock, other than ultimately eroding it--but can you collect coal from water?
