Yes, just like Liberals invented Islam to try to rewrite or extend the definition of the First Amendment, which clearly grants the freedom of anyone to practice any sect of Christianity that they choose.

This has nothing to do with what people think of gays personally, it is about upholding the Constitution and following the 14th Amendment, here is the relevant part;

"Section 1.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

No where does it say "except for homosexuals" it comes down to this if you believe in equality, it must be for all or it is meaningless.
