Any way to get videos off Canon EOS 1300S via Canon Connect app?

I always edit via my phone and have minimum access to a computer therefore getting videos off my camera via the app is most ideal. It's not working, any way at all that I can via this method?

    your camera is not on the apps supported list. you need an android with NFC instead.

    I suspect that you can't do it. The Canon website highlights the transfer of images to a smartfone using the built-in WiFi or NFC.but it doesn't mention the same ability with video.

    My 70D is similar but has no NFC capability. Using Canon Connect I can see the list all the images and video on the camera. I can view a single still from videos on my Android smartfone but there is no option to view the video. When I try to transfer video to my smartfone I get a "file not compatible" error.
