I'm guessing the beetle also doesn't want you to swallow it in your sleep. There is a small chance of it crawling on you which again is much more dangerous for the beetle than you but the chance of it crawling anywhere near getting eaten is pretty remote unless you go to bed awfully hungry.

First, the odds you might swallow that beetle in your sleep is nil. Likely where ever it is, it will just chill out for the night.

Look at your house flies, long come night they go to the ceiling and do nothing all night or you would be swallowing them too.

Unless the bug is noisy, it won't bother you in the slightest, just forget about it and go to sleep.
