Is it normal to pretend that you're punching someone while punching a punching bag?

It seems like everytime I punch my punching bag, I am punching someone I don't like. Is it normal to pretend that you are punching someone while punching a punching bag?

    What does it matter to you whether it's "normal" or not as long as it works for you? Does anyone else know what you're thinking? What if someone says, "No, it's not normal" but it WORKS very well for you? Does it REALLY matter what others think?
