Does ancestral homonin dna influence our way of thinking and ultimately how fast we evolve?

So I've read homo sapiens were more sophisticated and developed more social skills because they took their time going through puberty until the age of 18, as opposed to homo neanderthales who were already fully developed at the age of 15, who were also stronger and apparently just as smart. It has been proven that neanderthals have mated with homo sapiens, so I had theory that maybe the people in the Middle East have more homo neanderthales dna than people in Brittain for instance. Making them more prone to violence in the name of an imagined super entity. If you just look at how the two different races evolved to what they are today. The society in Britain seems more technologically advanced than those in the Middle East. It can't just be a lack of geographical opportunities and the obsession with religion that caused their societies to be less evolved right?

Neanderthales were ready for adult life and breeding at the age of 15, maybe that's why they still have 14 year old brides in some societies in the Middle East

You have several false points on which your "question" rests:

    1) The 18 year old grown up age was not acieved with our own species (on average) until this century. There are still MANY countries where this STILL does not apply.

    2) It has not been proven (only hypothesized) that Neandertals crossed with Sapiens.

    3) races do not evolve. Species do.

    4) Evolution is not directional. There is no such thing as "less evolved". Species that are not well adapted to their environment go extinct.

    5) Evolution does not apply to cultures

No. Wrong. DNA evidence doesn't support this at all. I'm kind of baffled by how much people don't want to accept culture as a reason, despite the mountains of evidence.

Modern humans only have 1 to 4 percent Neanderthal DNA. This DNA is dormant, and has had no impact on how modern humans turned out. The most Neanderthal DNA in modern humans is located in northern Italy. The rest of European modern humans have the second most Neanderthal DNA. Modern Asians and Middle Eastern humans have the third most Neanderthal DNA and Africans have the least.
