Can the blade assembly for Oster blender be taken apart and repaired?
I have an Oster blender and it seems to have a small leak through the center of the cutter blade assembly. I do have a new one ordered but was curious can it be taken apart to see if it just needs a gasket or some other simple repair?

You can't fix the leak. The bronze bushing is worn out, causing the shaft to wobble a bit, and that wobbling causes the seal to fail.
The coupler is on the other side of the blades, Put a drop of oil under the coupler so it reaches the shaft every few weeks, to make it last longer.
