How to get Cortana off my taskbar?
Okay so I have Windows 10 on my Surface Pro. I like to draw on it as a tablet with the keyboard removed, but I'm left-handed and whenever I put my hand down to draw, Cortana always comes up. It's driving me NUTS. How can I make it so Cortana is off my taskbar, so when I put my hand over it, it won't show up?

Right click on a blank space on the taskbar, go to 'search' and then select 'hidden'

To shrink the Cortana search bar, right-click on the search bar itself (or on any blank space in the taskbar) and select Cortana > Show Cortana Icon.

To rid my system of Cortana, I simply opened command prompt, and unregistered the DLL components that were associated with it. Never had a problem again. Do you know how to unregister DLLs?

Right click on the task bar. Taskbar settings. Choose one of the options to auto-hide it. By the way, using Cortana could have found the answer to this!!

right click the taskbar where Cortana is, or [long press] on touch-screens. under the Cortana option select (Hidden) and it should disappear.
