Can myopia be treated?
I'm 15 and I'm having this issue since last year. I am having to wear glasses with a power of -0.5. I find this extremely annoying and I always had great eyes as far as I can remember. This issue, as far as I can remember started occuring when a girl left me and I started crying to death every night. I didn't tell my doctor or even anyone about this though. I find it embarrassing

Refractive surgery can reduce or even eliminate your need for glasses or contacts. The most common procedures are performed with an excimer laser.

I would be embarrassed to tell people your story, too. You're being quite foolish.
You have very slight myopia. Many people deal with much greater problems every day.
Your choices are
Glasses
Contacts
Lasik -- when you are old enough, mature enough, & when your eyes have the same prescription for 2 years.

Diseases are " treated" , myopia isn't a disease.
Crying didn't cause it either. That is plain silly.
You are slightly myopic like millions and millions of others, live with it. There is nothing you can do about it at your age. You are lucky you still don't need them all the time.
