Does anybody know what this white bar is on google earth?

The co-ordinates are 69°06'00.3"N 94°54'29.6"W if anyone can be bothered to look. It's not ice because it's too straight, and if you zoom in it's got faint borders. I thought it was the track of the satellite, bit it can't be.

Different sections of the Earth are photographed at different times, and the images stitched together to form the map.

That particular strip must have been captured in winter when it was iced over. The straight edge results from the track the satellite is following, it's not really there.
