1 AnswerOther - Yahoo Products3 years agoHow to stop photos sent by email being embedded in the recipient's message?
When I send emails from my android phone to my brother (who uses outlook on a pc, not sure if win10 or 7), they are embedded in the email he gets and are stretched so you can't see them. They do not arrive as attachments, even though I have sent them as attachments. I have tested it by emailing my self pictures and they are fine. It's only just recently started happening with my brother. His IT department says the problem is at my end, but I don't think it is. Anyone have any suggestions? Or provide a link to the instructions?I also am not sure what version f outlook it is, but I am wondering if the fix would be the same for all recent versions.

Hi I'm English and I hear this often, I just wondered what one was , why they're called that, where are they from etc. I know I can look this up but I wanted serious and not-so-serious answers.
1 AnswerFashion & Accessories4 years agoDoes anyone know the music in the latest Aldi adverts?
The adverts currently featuring the Brownlee brothers, for Aldi supermarket. I remember it from the TV during the late 60s or early 70s. I think it might the theme tune to a programme from back then.
2 AnswersOther - Television4 years agoWhy do the BBC refer to Islamic State as 'so called' Islamic State?
Ever since they have started reporting on ISIS, ISIL or whatever you want to call it, they always say 'so called' before it. They don't do it on any other news channel.
8 AnswersCurrent Events4 years agoWould we be better off trying to find a way of deflecting asteroids before we try going to Mars?
Asteroid 2014 J025 (the rock) missed us by just over 1 million miles yesterday. They have known about it for some time, but I suspect not long enough to do anything about it should it have been on a collision course. However, another asteroid 1999 AN10 is due to come close to us in 10 years time. Do you think we should be working out a way to see if we can actually do anything about changing its orbit (even though it's not going to hit us), in preparation for a future asteroid that was actually going to collide? Sort of like a dummy run. I think that logically we should be spending money on this, rather than manned missions to Mars, and I bet it would be an awful lot easier to do as well.
8 AnswersAstronomy & Space4 years agoWhat has happened to my video file?
I was dragging a video file in order to drop it onto the Chrome browser so I could cast it to my TV. I missed the browser bar and I saw the file 'fly' off the screen, and now it's disappeared from my files. I've tried restoring the folder to an earlier version and there aren't any, and I've tried googling a solution, no luck. Any ideas?
1 AnswerOther - Computers4 years agoDoes anybody know what this white bar is on google earth?
The co-ordinates are 69°06'00.3"N 94°54'29.6"W if anyone can be bothered to look. It's not ice because it's too straight, and if you zoom in it's got faint borders. I thought it was the track of the satellite, bit it can't be.
2 AnswersGoogle4 years agoWhat do banks do with fake £1 coins after I pay them in?
The new £1 coin comes in today, and they say that 1 in 30 of the old ones are fake. I have several hundred pounds worth to pay in, which I am going to do before they stop being legal tender. They re all bagged up in the correct amounts so they just weigh the bags when I take them in. If the stats are right then there will be about £50 in fake coins in my hoard. They ve never checked them when I ve paid in before. How do they check them, or do they ever check them? What do they do with the fake ones? I know there are simple tests you can do yourself, but I m not going to check them myself as it will take too long and I would possibly lose out as well.

Will Pr. Trump send Air Force One? Or will she get an RAF plane, or just go on British Airways?
14 AnswersCurrent Events4 years agoWhat would be the worse case scenario in the NHS crisis?
What with ambulances queueing up outside and people being treated in corridors because there are no free beds, and operations being cancelled. The Red Cross are already helping out and have said that by definition it is a humanitarian crisis. What would be needed before some huge intervention was required? And who would that intervention be by, and how would it happen?

1 AnswerMobile Phones & Plans4 years agoWhat action would Mr Trump take if he decided not to accept the Presidential Election result?
I watch with interest from the UK the antics of Mr Trump, relating to the recent debate with Mrs Clinton. I am sorry if this question has been asked before, and I know his publicists have 'clarified' his remarks about him saying he would let every one know whether he accepts the result once it is known, but what would he do if he did not accept the result? Serious and silly answers accepted.

12 AnswersCurrent Events5 years agoThis isn't really a question, more an invitation for some political debate?
I'm in the UK and I am, for the first time, finding myself interested in the current 'race' for the White House. I was watching a British reporter talking about the outcome of the most recent presidential debate. The reporter said that the worst thing that could happen to Mrs. Clinton would be for Mr. Trump to pull out of the race, because then the Republicans would have to field another, more credible candidate, and that as a result the Republicans would win. What do people think?
6 AnswersElections5 years agoHas anyone seen that advert on the BBC with 1970s Michael Fish?
This would only appeal to UK viewers.. it's a very clever advert for BBC sitcoms starring Michael Fish doing a weather forecast looking young and 1970s. Does anyone know how it was made? Did they use a double?
