Well if you get a diesel, you have to mess with the Def fluid if its new enough. Better just get a gasoline powered engine pickup. Less hassle

First off... Do you really NEED a big V-8 diesel engine in a 3/4 ton or 1 ton pickup just to tow a boat? I have a 1/2 ton pickup with a V-6 engine that does just fine with my boat, and it's a heck of a lot cheaper to buy and to operate.
