Why do some YA questions get less answers than others?

Sometimes it's just a matter of timing. Questions are posted and move down the queue immediately after. If they don't catch the fancy of responders right away, they fade away into oblivion.

Fewer answers.

Serious questions that require deep understanding and thought seem to get less responses. This site is infested with trolls now so troll or silly questions usually seem to get the most answers.
