What does "sending a message as a multimedia msg if there are multiple recipients" mean?
why is that even an option when all i wanna do is send one single sentence to a number of people? i know i have received a multimedia msg before and there are no messages just a button to click and some phones cant even open it. Why is this turned ON by default? could some1 pls explain what makes this a recommended option? thanks

MMS as a service is being rolled back - simply because as a service it does not get used enough to justify it's presence! If all you want to do is send one line of text, then it's far better and easier (and cheaper) to send an SMS.
It's on by default, because the larger file size of the MMS format makes it easy for mobile operators to send configuration data vai this route!
