Are the Celtics the worst #1 seed in NBA history?

53-29 record... can't remember a worse #1 seed, or at least in recent memory

Update:

Mavericks were 0-3 against the Warriors during the season and 67-12 against the rest of the league

    Nope.

I'm going with The Dallas Mavs because They're the ones who's lost to The Golden State Warriors in The First Round. They'd upset them. Dallas had their Redemption for losing to The Miami Heat in NBA Finals year ago But, They're worthless for losing in The First round.

Pistons 2007 had the same record, Detroit made it to the ECF, that year the 67-15 Mavs lost to the Warriors in the 1st round too.
