Is Public Humiliation a good punishment for children?

    Peer pressure is huge. Public humiliation can be effective, and the child may learn the lesson, but it can also leave a strong and long-lasting bitter feeling about the parent that does that. For children, as well as adults, I like to praise in public and reprimand in private.

    Never punish your kid in front of other kids/people as other kids might bully him as you are teaching them how to treat your child.
